Griffin and his dad were driving home from "Walking with Dinosaurs Live" (which BTW was awesome!)

J. Geils' "Love Stinks" was playing loudly, and after the song ended they had this converstation:

Griffin: Daddy, why was he singing that?
Daddy: Ummm, well, sometimes in relationships things happen and people might argue or fight. Afterwards they might be bitter and angry. And after a divorce or a breakup, some people are so mad that they don't want to fall in love again. Or sometimes a person loves someone, but they don't love them back. Does that kinda explain it?
Griffin: But Daddy, love doesn't stink - love ROCKS!
Daddy: You're gonna be OK, kid.

Baseball!

America's most beloved baseball park . . .


and our most beloved toddler! That's right, Gracie saw her first Sox game!

She stayed up for the whole thing! and we beat the Diamondbacks!

Griffin's first game was last August . . .

We lost that one, but he did not seem to care!

Kindergarten Ends

Today is Griffin's last day of Kindergarten! Here he is with his school principal at her retirement party.


Gracie enjoyed the party also.


She also enjoyed field day . . . and Griffin and his classmates enjoyed her.


She will miss sitting on the steps at the bus stop each morning . . .

and every afternoon.

But Griffin is ready for summer to begin! Look out First Grade!

Summer Begins!

Griffin's kindergarten class kicked off the summer with a field trip to Davis Farm in Sterling.


Griffin and his friend Cian had a great time with the animals.


He was out cold on the bus ride home.

Last weekend Daddy gave him his summer hair cut!

Which he really does like.

Gracie has been enjoying the early days of summer by developing a love of popsicles.

She also made her first trip to the "big" pool at the YMCA.

She had a great time . . .

but lately prefers watching Elmo on TV, while sitting with the people she loves - like Elmo

or her brother.
