Opening Day!

Griffin will be playing T Ball this year with the Little Nippers Baseball League. Opening Day ceremonies were held last Saturday. As you can see, Griffin's team is called the Twins!

The Carnival

We took Griffin to the carnival at church last Friday. Here are some pictures and video:

As you can see . . . he had a great time! In case you cannot tell, he is the cute little boy in the white sweatshirt riding the rides below!

Rock and Roll

On Sunday Griffin attended his first concert ever!  The band is called The Doodlebops, and they have quite a following among the preschool set!

Since they are too young to wave lighters, lighted toys were available from roaming concessionaires.

Griffin was spellbound

Griffin (and his new friend) were quite pleased with the performance!

A Customer for Life

We watch a fair amount of HGTV and Griffin can name every specialist on This Old House, but neither of the adults in our family has the time or desire to actually undertake the projects that we watch others complete on TV. So we have decided to start Griffin's training young, in hopes that he can be the answer to our DIY dreams!

Luckily, the Home Depot hosts free (yes FREE!) workshops for youngsters to learn the skills necessary to transform them into life-long customers. Griffin attended his first (but not last) workshop on Saturday, and made his very own flower box with a REAL hammer and REAL nails.

He also recieved a spiffy Home Depot work apron. . .

and a certificate of completion.
The finished project is now proudly displayed on our kitchen windowsill . . . full of flowers purchased at (you guessed it) the Home Depot!
